Gaura lindheimeri 'White Heron' New to cultivation is this improvement on older Gaura cultivars. It is more compact and the dark wiry stems are a fine contrast to the multitude of pure white flowers. Also a particularly hardy selection. I was suprised that it came through the winter of 2009 absolutely unscathed with no added protection! This is a fabulous plant for flowers from July thru to Nov.
